Whatever you are facing, I can support you to make sense of your experiences and create meaningful change in how you relate to yourself and others.I work with people navigating anxiety and overwhelm, grief and loss, and the emotional complexities of parenthood, birth, and fertility.
At some point in our lives we will all face challenges. I have experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss, relationships and life transitions. I pay particular attention to the relationship between us as it develops and to your experience of therapy with me. Research shows that the most important factor in the success of therapy is the relationship between client and therapist and I bear this in mind in all my work.People come to therapy for many reasons. I offer a reflective, supportive space for clients to explore what's happening in their lives an what might be getting in the way of change. These are some of the experiences I most commonly work with. If what you're going through isn't listed there it doesn't mean I can't help - get in touch and we can have a free consultation call.
Support for when you feel stuck in your head, overwhelmed by day-to-day life, or struggling with confidence and self-criticism
Support through bereavement, relationship endings, life transitions, and losses that feel complicated, unseen, or hard to put into words
Support around trying to conceive, pregnancy, birth experiences, early parenthood, and the emotional realities of becoming — or not becoming — a parent
About
We will agree on a regular time to meet each week. Typically, I will suggest we begin by meeting for either 6 or 12 sessions and reviewing at that point to see where you are and whether continuing with longer-term therapy feels right for you.My approach is always client-led. It's important that you feel heard, understood and supported. We will go at a pace that feels manageable. Together we can look what might be getting in the way of what you want from life. As our work progresses, you may want to explore how past experiences are affecting you now or keep the focus more on the present day. Either way, clients find that therapy can bring about real, positive change by helping them gain clarity and develop a more compassionate understanding of themselves and their experiences.

Anxiety therapy in North London
It’s very normal to experience feelings of anxiety at some point in our lives. You might feel constantly on edge, stuck in your thoughts, or worn down by a critical inner voice. For many people, anxiety and overwhelm show up in ordinary ways — difficulty switching off, second-guessing yourself, feeling responsible for everyone else, or carrying a quiet sense of not quite measuring up.I offer face-to-face anxiety therapy in North London, working with clients from my practice in Islington. In therapy, we would take time to look at what’s going on for you, at a pace that feels manageable. Rather than trying to get rid of anxiety, we’d explore how it operates in your life and what it may be connected to — including past experiences, patterns in relationships, and how you relate to yourself.Over time, this work can support you to feel more grounded, more able to trust yourself, and less driven by self-criticism or fear.If you’re considering therapy and would like support with anxiety, you’re welcome to get in touch for a free consultation to explore whether working together might feel right for you.
Therapy for grief, loss, and bereavement
Grief can follow many kinds of loss — a death, the end of a relationship, a change in identity, or something important that didn’t happen in the way you hoped.Therapy offers a place to talk about loss without pressure to move on or make sense of it too quickly. We can spend time with what’s been lost, what it meant to you, and how it continues to shape your life now.Through counselling, you may find space to acknowledge what’s changed, and support in finding ways to live alongside loss, rather than feeling pushed to get over it.If you’re considering therapy or counselling and would like to explore whether working together feels right, you’re welcome to get in touch for a free consultation.
Experiences around fertility, pregnancy, birth, and parenthood can be emotionally complex, and not always in ways people expect. You might be carrying feelings that feel hard to talk about — such as grief, anger, ambivalence, guilt, or disconnection — even when things appear “fine” from the outside.I offer face-to-face therapy in Hackney and Islington, as well as online, providing space to speak honestly about what you’ve been through and how it has affected you, without judgement or assumptions. We can explore the emotional impact of these experiences together, and what kind of support feels most helpful for you now.I work in a way that is thoughtful, grounded, and responsive to you, rather than following a set approach or timeline. I am an accredited practitioner with the Foundation for Infant Loss and hold their Infertility and Rainbow Baby Specialist certificates. If you’re considering therapy or counselling and want to explore whether working together feels right, you’re welcome to get in touch for a free consultation.
